Vincent MALLIÉ

Biography

After obtaining his baccalaureate, Vincent Mallié enrolled in a drawing workshop which allowed him to approach different techniques.

At the end of his studies, he published, with Joël Parnotte, his first story in the journal Golem at the end of 1996.  This will be followed by a series of three albums, Hong Kong triad, published by Editions Le Téméraire and reissued by Soleil Productions.  From 2000 to 2006, he signed, again with Soleil, Les Aquanautes with Parnotte (5 volumes) and L'Arche with Jérôme Félix (3 volumes, reissued in 2011 with Vents d'Ouest).  Since then, the name of Vincent Mallié has been associated with that of Loisel, the author of the legendary Peter Pan: he has in fact taken up the drawing of The Quest for the Bird of Time, and draws the series Le Grand Mort, scripted by Loisel and Djian.  At the same time, he also regularly exhibits his paintings and illustrations in different galleries. (Christie’s, Maghen, La Main Blanche or 9th art).
